Lion Brand Yarn speaker program available for NY area clubs
Thought I'd pass on this interesting opportunity. Sounds great!
The
Lion Brand Yarn company (http://www.lionbrand.com) today announced a new
guest speaker program for knitting and crochet clubs in the New York,
Tri State area that have 50 or more members. The worlds largest home
knitting and crochet yarn manufacturer is offering their Vice President
as a guest speaker to qualified organizations, free of charge. Topics
include: Fashion trends in knitting and crochet, new yarns, products and
services. Each talk includes gift packets and coupons for club members.
Lion Brand also donates the yarn samples used for each talk to each club
for use in charity projects.
"This new speaker program gives us a unique opportunity to not only
share the latest trends in hand knitting and crochet, but also get
feedback from people who actively knit and crochet." said Jack
Blumenthal, Vice President of Lion Brand Yarn. "This is an exciting
opportunity for us to give back to the community of knitting and crochet
enthusiasts."
Knitting and crochet clubs interested in participating in the Lion Brand
guest speaker program, need to have at least 50 members and be located
in the New York Tri state area to qualify. To schedule a speaker
engagement, clubs should contact Jack Blumenthal at
Jack@lionbrandyarn.com . Each club is encouraged to include detailed
information about their organization. Availability is on a first come
first served basis and each club must meet the minimum qualification
requirements.
